TAG stands for Technical Advisory Group, and is a group of Fullerton Radio Club members and their friends who enjoy working on technical projects. On the 2nd Wednesday of each month, we meet at a club member’s house to talk about “what we are working on.” The agenda usually involves animated arm-waving while eating pizza and drinking soft drinks, although none of those are mandatory. Recent discussions have included ARDF (Amateur Radio Direction Finding), precision oscillators and timekeeping, R/C aircraft design, Zigbee radios, how to program cool new Amazon Alexa skills, QRP transceiver kits, and … well, you get the idea. It is an interesting group of people who are always informative and often entertaining.
