This year, Fullerton Radio Club joined forces with the Western Amateur Radio Association WARA for a joint Field Day. It was our first Field Day as a club for several years, so there was lots of planning to do. We operated from the Issac Walton League cabin at Hillcrest Park in Fullerton. Our Field Day Captain was Tom Gaccione, WB2LRH. Our Club Treasurer, Gene Thorpe, KB6CBO, arranged logistics for the cabin and to get permission for us to overnight in the park (no small feat, as it turns out).
