Throughout the summer, the Fullerton Radio Club will continue to meet most Wednesdays on Zoom at 7 pm. The club will continue to send out weekly email reminders (with the Zoom link) a day or two before the meeting day. 5/18/22 – Zoom Presentation at 7 pm tonight

Please join us tonight, Wednesday May 18 at 7 pm for our Fullerton Radio Club Zoom meeting. We are fortunate to have a guest speaker this week. Scott MacGillivray, KM6RTE, will give a presentation titled “An Overview of Winlink for Emergency Communications.”
The focus of the talk will be to provide some insight into what Winlink is, an overview of how it works, how it can be useful in emergency communications, and how you can learn more about Winlink on your own.

4/20/22 – FRC Zoom Meeting at 7 pm

Our next Fullerton Radio Club Zoom meeting will be held tomorrow evening, Wednesday 4/20 at our new time of *** 7 pm ***. As an experiment, we have changed the starting time to *** 7 pm *** to align with the traditional time for FRC meetings and to match the 7 pm TAG starting time.
There will not be a net tonight.

Tonight is the second Wednesday of the month so there will be a TAG meeting at Walter Clark’s home. No net tonight. No Zoom. Regular meeting next Wednesday.

12/15/21 – FRC dinner meeting at Sizzler
This week’s Fullerton Radio Club meeting will be at Sizzler on Harbor Blvd. in Fullerton at 6:30 pm. Please remember to carry a mask, as today begins a state-wide requirement for face coverings in indoor public spaces.
We have 15 members and guests who have RSVPed, but if you have not done so, you are still welcome to join us.

Tonight (Wednesday 11/3) at 7:30 pm AD6QF will monitor both the K6QEH repeater and 7208 kHz LSB. (KQEH is 146.97- with a PL of 136.5 Hz). Vote for your favorite mode by coming up on either 2 m FM or 40 m SSB. It seemed to work last week, with more folks on 40 m. If 7208 kHz is occupied, AD6QF will listen down. At 8 pm we will do our usual meeting on Zoom.
